New photos from Hurricane Ridge

Yesterday morning on our drive from Forks to Port Angeles, we stopped at Lake Crescent. I couldn't resist taking a few photos of this beautiful lake. We then continued driving to Port Angeles. Once there, we decided to go for a hike at Hurricane Ridge, which is part of Olympic National Park. Here you can drive 17 miles to the top, or you can start 4 miles down the road and hike to the top. That's what my dad and I decided to do. It was a gorgeous hike. There were beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, glaciers, alpine meadows, and even the ocean. To add to the view, it was from 5,200 ft. above sea level. We also spotted quite a few Orange-crowned Warblers.  I was happy to get a nice picture of such a cute little bird. It was a wonderful day filled with incredible views and cool wildlife!

Enjoy!
