A foggy morning full of birds at Blackie Spit

The fog wasn't keeping the birds away yesterday morning. On a freezing and foggy morning there were lots of birds to be seen at Blackie Spit. Hundreds of Dunlin, a shorebird that winters on the coast, were tightly packed together to keep warm and remain safe from predators. Other birds included the beautiful Eurasian Wigeon, as well as lots of Ring-billed Gulls. I hope you enjoy my photos!
