The coast mountains of British Columbia and Washington are home to a high diversity of life, both floral and faunal. In spring, bears roam the slopes feeding on fresh plant growth while birds begin to find a nest to raise their young. In mid summer, the alpine meadows erupt with colour courtesy of a wide array of flowers . A hike in these mountains is well worth your time.
