A Wild Morning at Maplewood

I had a very exciting experience yesterday at the Maplewood Conservation Area, in North Vancouver. Black-tailed Deer are common here, and I have seen them on many visits, but this encounter was just as special. Just as I entered the forest, there were two Black-tailed Deer. I've never seen deer so big. A beautiful buck and female were quite tame and continued munching on leaves. It was a truly magnificent moment.
