Working out of Vancouver, British Columbia. Growing up in Vancouver, I have been surrounded by nature my whole life. As I began taking photos, my favourite subject was, and still is, birds. My life list sits at 265 species, many of which have been seen in the Metro Vancouver area, a testament to the region's natural diversity, located near the internationally important Fraser River delta. Another muse of mine, both personally and artistically, are plants as a result of having studied horticulture and botany. I believe that photography is a tool to inspire action and change. I hope that my photography and writing brings joy to the public and possibly help them understand and enjoy the natural.
