The Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary is internationally significant to birds. Located in Southwestern British Columbia, it is a crucial stop for birds along the Pacific Flyway. 272 species of birds have been reported at Reifel. Wetland birds, songbirds, shorebirds, birds of prey, and waterfowl pass through the sanctuary or live here year round.
